About the collection
Kyaw Han Soe, once a refugee in Burma, settled in Indianapolis IN in 1992 and began painting in earnest in his home.
This collection of paintings are primarily painted with acrylic paint on canvas or canvas board. Many of the paintings have been framed for various public showings throughout the artist’s life.
Soe, who lived and worked in Indianapolis for 16 years, creating over 30 paintings, passed away in February of 2008 but his talent lives on through his work, presented here for your pleasure and appreciation.
